From Advertising Photographer to Artist: A Journey through Pictures and Stories

Sandersson, a Swedish artist from Malmö, has shaped his artistic journey through a multifaceted career. Originally active as an advertising photographer with the world as his field of work between 1984 and 2004, he took the step into the art world with his first exhibition in 2004.

In 2014, Sandersson presented the book "One Picture One Story", a collection of photographs spanning two decades, from 1984 to 2014. The book became an artistic document capturing moments and stories from a long and varied career. The vernissage and book release took place at Galleri Jäger/Jansson and marked a milestone in the artist's journey.

In his latest project, "A Walk in the Park", which saw the light of day in 2020, Sandersson explores the possibilities of photography inspired by the Impressionists' way of looking at nature. Through his images, he takes the viewer on a journey through the landscape of art, where each photograph becomes a brushstroke of creativity and vision. The vernissage for this project took place in August 2020 at Galleri Leger.

Sanderson's artistry thus becomes a journey through time, expression and inspiration. From the world of advertising photography to the realm of art, he has developed and explored different dimensions of image creation.
