Collection: Jan Stenmark

Jan Stenmark is one of Sweden's most prominent cartoonists and visual artists, known for his unique collage technique. Using newspaper clippings from the 1940s to the 1960s, he creates satirical masterpieces that are processed with ink and embellished with ironic comments. For almost 40 years, Stenmark has cemented his place on the Swedish art scene and created works that go far beyond the exterior.

His seemingly simple collage technique often hides deeper layers, and the viewer can experience emotions that are slightly conflicting. Stenmark's pictures are not always politically correct, but they often hit the spot. Stepping into Jan Stenmark's world is liberating and creates a sense of community, where you are not alone.
