Collection: Martin Holmberg

The photographer who captures emotions and living conditions in pictures

Martina Holmberg, born and based in Stockholm, is not only a photographer but a storyteller who uses her medium to portray emotions and life conditions in a profound way. Her passion for photography was awakened as a child when she accompanied her father to the darkroom, where photographs slowly emerged in liquids. It was there, perhaps, that the seed of her fascination with photography was sown.

As an internationally award-winning photographer, Holmberg has dedicated his artistry to challenging himself and exploring different ways of expression in order to constantly develop. She finds inspiration in conveying emotions and inner states on a subtle level. Over the years, she has traveled the world to document different living conditions, especially with a focus on women's rights, both through assignments for aid organizations and as a freelance photographer.

Martina Holmberg has shared her visual stories through seven photo books and a collection of poems. In addition, she regularly exhibits her pictures in various galleries, where the viewer has the opportunity to immerse himself in her moving depictions of the changing destinies of humanity.
