Collection: Nino Ramsby
The photographer who chooses the path of art in the details
Since the early 90s, Nino Ramsby has devoted his life to photography. His journey began as a photography assistant at the Moderna Museet in 1993 and has since included image creation, image processing, graphic design and illustration. From 2003, Nino has been part of Bildbyrån Folio.
The unique thing about Nino's artistry is his approach to life and his own creation. The core of his work is about being open to the details that surround him. This philosophy permeates everything he does and takes various expressions. Where poets search for particular words and phrases, Nino finds poetry in everyday language. Just as singers hone their voice, Nino searches for the beauty of his own voice.
Unlike other photographers, who create art by searching specific environments and situations, Nino makes art from what he sees in his own life. He has actively chosen to be present in the moment and open to the art that surrounds him, which requires courage and commitment. This approach not only gives a lot to Nino himself but also to those who have the privilege to partake of his art.
