Tone was born in Norway and has lived in Sweden since 1993.
She uses acrylic and builds up the paintings with the help of structure and thick layers of paint. This gives a three-dimensional feel and the images feel sculpted. Furthermore, she lasers layer upon layer with color and brings out exciting colors and depth. She loves nature and finds a lot of inspiration in our beautiful landscape. The camera is her faithful companion. The paintings often show part of a larger whole, the subject is abstract and the imagination can have free rein.
