Karin Wästlund

Karin, a Swedish artist and graphic designer born in Gothenburg in 1972 and currently based in Tollered, has a diverse artistic background. She holds a design degree from Berghs School of Communication, an art degree from Dômen Art School and a degree as an art and media teacher from the Gothenburg Academy of Arts (HDK).

Painting has always been a central part of Karin's artistic expression, but she also explores drawing, collage and animation. Inspired by nature and everyday life, she ventures into various themes, mainly abstract and conceptual, where color, form and their combinations become tools for her artistic exploration.
