The Explorer of Elemental Art
Sheyda Sabokbar, the artist who explores the three elements - earth, water and fire, considers them as basic building blocks in her artistic creation. These elements are also rooted in the ancient Persian religion, Zoroastrianism, and form the very basis of her artistic exploration.
Her paintings take shape through acrylics and different textures, creating layer upon layer. Each brushstroke represents a celebration of the beauty and joy of existence. Like the flamenco dance, where the textures of the crackles express sadness and pain in a beautiful way, Sheyda allows sadness and joy to exist side by side without competition.
