Collection: Hampus Karlsson

Hampus Karlsson, an artist whose painting has become a central part of his means of communication after he lost the ability to speak and became partially paralyzed in an accident. Before this incident, he was already a graffiti artist, and his artwork was spread in both legal and illegal places. His basic material is spray paint, but he also supplements with markers, brushes and sponges. Hampus also experiments with collage and generally works with mixed media. The artist draws inspiration from all things graffiti, and his art often reflects different aspects of life. He paints based on emotions, which can be anything from daily form to deeper thoughts.
