Elin Erikson

Elin Erikson has her roots in Kristinehamn, but now lives in Karlstad after many years abroad. About 13 years ago, when she started painting in oils with an artist in Madrid, painting became a central part of her life. Her paintings are often characterized by several layers of oil paint. Despite her foundation in realism, she constantly strives to explore new territories. Sometimes the works are completely realistic, while the motifs are just as often incorporated into dynamic patterns.
