Membership Print 2026

Now this year's membership print is ready to find its way home to you as a CULTUS member. This year, there are two well-known artists with 4 different motifs each to choose from: Brandy Kraft and Lasse Skarbövik.

Kraft paints botany on the border between nature and fantasy. The fictional species appear in a rich light, with layer upon layer of color that borrows discipline from older painting and dreamlike traits from contemporary art. Her works carry a sensual precision where beauty and transience meet in the same flower.

Skarbövik works with clear shapes, concentrated color, and a sharp sense of rhythm. His figures and objects are distilled into signs that feel self-evident yet contain humor and subtle shifts in proportion and meaning. The result is images that are as much thought as form—easy to read, hard to let go of.

The membership prints are available to pick up at Galleri Mats Bergman, Herrhagsgatan 48, 652 22, Karlstad, framed or unframed, starting from November 26 at 10:00 AM.
