Ulf Wahlberg born 1938 in Stockholm, died 2014 was a Swedish artist (painter and cartoonist). He mainly executed neorealist paintings of cars and people but also a lot of abstract works. The light is an important ingredient in his painting, it is the light that gives volume and atmosphere. The colors, especially in his still lifes, are often sparing in calm grey-blue shades, but always with an accent of a contrasting colour.
