Art trip in Värmland 17/6 2023

Come with us to Maria "Wildheart" Westerberg's paradise on earth. Here she finds peace and lives in harmony with the forest, which is her creative studio. Along the forest walk behind her house, we come across several of the many works of art made of sticks Vildhjärta was inspired to make. We have time for afternoon coffee in her garden before it's time to move on to Borgvik, one of Värmland's best-preserved mill environments.

We start at Borgviks Herrgård, and if we're lucky we get to meet the lordship ourselves. We learn more about the manor and its history. We continue with a guided walk in Borgvik that ends at Borgviks Gård.

Here, the old barn has been fully equipped and renovated and now you can boast a café, a restaurant, farm shop and a party hall.
Galleri Mats Bergman has this year been commissioned to " decorate " the art gallery where local artists from the area are also represented. We meet Hans Karlander, owner and entrepreneur, and he tells us more about the farm and its future plans. The day ends in the most pleasant way with a three-course dinner in Matbruket at Borgvik Gård.

    There are only 30 places. Book your trip on our website www.special-resor.se or call us on tel. 054-18 89 00 (telephone hours: 10-12 and 1-3). The registration fee is 10% of the trip price per person and must be paid within 10 days of receiving the booking confirmation/invoice, the remainder is paid no later than 40 days before departure. Booking confirmation / invoice will be sent via e-mail if nothing else is desired.

    Cancellation

    Cancellation of a trip is charged according to the Swedish Travel Agency's terms and conditions for package trips and Specialresor's special terms and conditions, available at www.special-resor.se (Before the trip).

    Departure time:

    17/6: bus leaves at 13.00 from the railway station in Karlstad
    17/6: back in Karlstad at about 10 p.m
    Detailed information about the departure is announced in the departure notice that is sent out approximately two weeks before departure.
